Just The Facts: Chocolate

Chocolate comes from cocoa, a byproduct of the cacao bean—which grows on the Theobroma Cacao tree. Whether due to misspelling or mispronunciation,
"cacao" evolved to "cocoa". With the recent revival of artisanal chocolates, however, there's now a movement to reclaim the bean's correct name: "cacao"
(which is correctly pronounced: "Ka-Kow").
